The Jaguars diet or food isn’t so particular like many other animals is.Jaguars are carnivores which means they only eat meat. Jaguars will use their speed to catch their prey. Jaguars hunt mainly at night when their prey usually is not awake. Jaguars will climb a tree during day time and wait for it’s prey to come to them. The Jaguars main prey is from mice to deer. Jaguars are good swimmers to where they can catch animals such as turtles, frogs, fish and even small alligators. The Jaguar will drag it’s prey into cover and will bury some and then eat the rest of it. The Jaguar will eat bigger animals such as deer, peccaries, capybaras, and tapirs.
